Obituary of Sue Scheibein
Sue Scheibein née Jones, 75, passed away March 11, 2023 with her family by her side. Originally from Philadelphia, PA, she grew up in Marmora, NJ and graduated from Ocean City High School in 1966 where she met the love of her life.
She was an active member of the Seaville United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with the United Methodist Women, the Young at Heart, Christians Women’s Group and the Golden Heirs. She always looked forward every year to organizing her church’s Christmas luncheon at the Crab Trap.
She loved eating fried tomatoes at Ninos with her friends. She enjoyed watching the birds in her bird bath. She really enjoyed her many trips to Lancaster, PA. Her favorite hobbies included watching the Wizard of Oz, I Love Lucy and Survivor. She was an avid reader and loved playing the sorry board game.
She leaves behind her husband of 55 years, Hermon Scheibein, three sons, Matt (Sabra), Mark and Robert.
Family and friends are invited to join in her celebration of life service on Friday March 24, 2023 at Seaville United Methodist Church, 3100 Shore Road, Ocean View, NJ 08230
