Obituary of Jane Mallari

Mallari, Jane Lingat, 51, of Egg Harbor Township, NJ. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jane on Wednesday, February 15, 2023. Born in San Augustine, San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines. She was the loving daughter of the late Jesus Lingat and Teresita (Ocampo) Lingat and the devoted wife of Alvin Mallari to whom she was married for 24 years.
 

Jane graduated high school in San Fernando, Pampanga. She then completed her Bachelor's degree in Nursing in 1992 from Angeles University Foundation. During her time there she met her husband, Alvin. It was Jane who encouraged Alvin to finish his degree, also in Nursing. Jane began working as a nurse at a local hospital in San Fernando, Pampanga and soon after married Alvin in 1999. They moved to the United States together and Jane worked at Andover Subacute and Rehab before beginning their family in 2002. Jane and Alvin moved to South Jersey in 2003 and Jane began her career at Shore Memorial Hospital where she worked for 20 years. Jane enjoyed taking care of her family and cooking for her family. Her life revolved around her home, her family, her Church, and her work. She enjoyed attending her children’s swimming competitions. Her last memory before she passed away was cheering excitedly at her daughter’s swim team competition.
 

Jane leaves behind three amazing children of whom she was so proud, Alec, Jewel, and Aerick as well as her devoted husband, Alvin. She is also survived by her mother, Teresita, three brothers, Joel, John, and James, and her sister, Janice. She was predeceased by her father, Jesus, and her sister, Juby Manalo. 
 

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday February 18, 2023 at 1:00PM at the Saint Katharine Drexel Church, 6075 West Jersey Avenue, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234 where Family and friends may visit from 11:00AM to 12:45PM.
