Obituary of Lee Anne Richardson

Please share a memory of Lee to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Richardson, Lee Anne (Collo) – 68, of Egg Harbor Township, passed peacefully on Sunday February 5th, with her family at her side.  She fought a long and arduous battle with breast cancer, proving to all that she was a warrior (which we already knew).  Lee Anne is survived by Bryan, her loving and devoted husband of 46 years, her sons Glenn (Holly) and Eddie (Doria), her grandchildren (Connor, Zoey, Jackson, Avery, Chloe, Lukas, Patrick, Brayden and Jayden), her brother Jim (Nancy), her sister Jana, her brother-in-law Scott (Mary), brother-in-law Ken (Trish), sister-in-law Pam, her best friend Cheryl (Angel) and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.  Lee Anne is predeceased by her parents, George and Jackie (nee Jefferies) Collo.

Lee and Bryan enjoyed vacationing, and traveled most of the country.  Their adventures started with tent camping, and progressed as the years moved on.  After her retirement from Wells Fargo Bank, they found a passion for RV’ing.  They made many friends during this time of their lives.  Once the grandchildren started arriving though, Lee Anne made it clear that full time RV’ing wasn’t going to work- she wanted to be closer to home and the kids.  Bryan and Lee Anne then discovered a new passion in cruising.

Anyone who knew Lee Anne knew that the thing that was most important to her was family.  Family was the center of her life.  Her grandchildren, though, were her biggest joy.  She loved being involved in each and every aspect of their lives, creating life long memories for them and with them.  Whether it was watching them at football, soccer, baseball or hockey games, taking them to dance class, or back to school shopping, Lee Anne was always involved.  The children had many day trips with Grandma, be it the zoo, aquarium, Story Book Land, festivals, block parties or flea markets, Lee Anne was up for any adventure.  To know her was to love her, and she will live on in her husband, children, grandchildren and those that surrounded her.
