Obituary of Karl Morey

Karl William Morey, 55 years of age, has tragically passed away on February 1, 2023. Karl was born in 1967 at Shore Memorial Hospital.  Unfortunately, what happened to Karl was sudden, unfair, and unpredictable, that is life sometimes. He believed things happen for a reason, even if we never figure out that reason. Karl was a jack of all trades. In his life he was never afraid to learn anything. Starting as a mechanic,  to pre press operations, on to travel sales and support, to finally land his "cushion" job as Sr. Software Support Engineer. He was a dedicated man that gave his all in what he did. He had to, being as stubborn as he was. 

       From a very young age, Karl chose to be a family man. Karl is survived by George"the dog" and his three children Charles Krall (Jennifer Dragert), Alysha Morey(Johnathan Martinez), and Bryan (Emilia) Morey, his brother Kenneth Morey Jr. and his sister, Kathleen Roselle. He is also survived by his wife Penny Morey and best friend Michele Krall, along with three step children Rodger, Aaron, and Robin. And let's not forget his many many grandchildren and step grandchildren that he loved dearly. He was predeceased by his parents Kenneth LeRoy Morey Sr. and Katherine lovely Morey. 

  He was a devoted son, brother, father, grandfather, husband, cousin, uncle, and friend his entire life. 

   Karl's children will be hosting a funeral service on Tuesday, February 7th at 11am. The service will be held at Godfrey Funeral home with a small burial at Seaside Cemetery.
