Obituary of Robert McCauley

Robert H. McCauley, 78, of South Seaville, NJ passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at his home with his family by his side.

Born in Quarryville, Pa he had been a longtime area resident.

Bob had worked as a Carpenter for many years. After retirement, he did Handyman work around the area.

He is a member of Seaville United Methodist Church serving on the Board of Trustees of the cemetery, he currently  served on the Board of Trustees of Asbury United Methodist Church, he loved to hunt and fish, played on many softball teams and had been a member of the Ocean City Golf Club.

He was predeceased by his parents: Catherine and Joseph Murphy, mother Sarah Flahart,  grandson: Tyler Bailey, brothers: Raymond, Joe, Sonny, Donny and sister: Janet Flahart.

Surviving are his wife: June (nee Speer) McCauley, his children: Bridget (Bill) Bailey, Rob (Dawn) McCauley, Heath (Nicole Mazza) McCauley, Brandee (Rob) Ritter.  Also surviving are nine grandchildren: Jason (Anna), Kaitlyn, Jeremiah, Gideon, Billy, Keith, Alissa, Cole, Gianna, sisters: Ruthie Schotzhauer, Judy, Betty Anderson, Sandy Kight, brother: Dave McCauley.

His funeral service will be offered Monday, February 6, 2023 at 11 o’clock from Asbury United Methodist Church, 1811 Route 9 North, Swainton, NJ where friends may call from 9:30am until time of service. Officiants of Service: Rev. William Hess & Rev. David Bailey, soloist, Pat Brownhill.

Burial will follow in Seaville United Methodist Cemetery, Seaville, NJ.
