Obituary of Elsie Beckter

Elsie L Beckter, 93, passed away at Autumn Lake Assited Living on December 9th, 2022.

Born in Trevose Pennsylvania, she lived in Philadelphia area until 1973 and Ocean City NJ thereafter until moving into assisted living in September of 2021. After graduating art school she worked in various fields including being a draftsperson, nurse's aide, teacher's aide, photography colorist along with may artistic endeavors along the way until retiring in the 90's. However, she continued with her artwork into her 90's! She was an active member of the Methodist Church for 50 plus years most recently with Union Chapel by the Sea in Ocean City NJ, where she spent many years in the choir and enjoyed playing the church organ occasionally when needed.

Survivors include Son William T. Beckter Jr. and wife Marianne, Sister Edna Dicicco and family. 

Elsie was preceded in death by husband William T. Beckter Sr, brothers Robert Cruise, Leslie Cruise and wife Shirley, David Cruise and wife Betty, sisters Margaret Cruise and husband Roland, and sister Dorothy.

Her Funeral Service will be on Monday December 19, 2021 at 7:00PM at the Union Chapel By The Sea Church, 5501 Asbury Avenue, Oceqn City, NJ 08226, where friends may visit from 6:00PM until the time of the Service.
