Joanne M. Martin, 74, passed away peacefully at home on December 9, 2022.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she lived in Havertown, PA. until permanently moving to Ocean City New Jersey in 1999, graduated from Haverford High School in 1968 and worked for the Ocean City School District until retiring in 2018. Joanne was a member of the St. Damien

Parish. She enjoyed walking on the beach and the boardwalk. 

Joanne is survived by her husband of 54 years Robert A. Martin, his son William S. Martin his wife Misti (Kayli and bobby), his daughter Kelly Ann Zaun her husband Drew (Paul , Samantha, Marley and Rue) : Sister Jean Heffernan; and many nieces and nephews.

Joanne was preceded by her parents Jones Passmore and Helen Delacey and her brother Robert Passmore.

Her Memorial Mass will be offered Thursday morning, December 15, 2022 at 11 o’clock from Our Lady of Good Counsel Church of St. Damien Parish, 40th Street at Asbury Avenue, Ocean City, NJ where friends may call from 10:30 am until the time of mass.

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the ALS society, 321 Norristown Road #260
