Obituary of Carole Snyder

Carole M. Snyder also known as Mimi, age 81 of Ocean View NJ passed away on her 59^th wedding anniversary November 30, 2022 peacefully in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her family. Carole was born in Philadelphia PA on July 6, 1941 to the late Everard Frank and Madelaine Lund. Carole grew up in Sea Isle City, surviving the 1962 storm. She was an avid swimmer and bowler. She graduated from Ocean City High school in 1959. Carole volunteered 30 years of her life to Sea Isle City ambulance corp. She retired from the city of Sea Isle City in 2008 after serving 25 years with them.

            Carole is survived by her sister Karen Hartenstine, two children Melissa Reifsnyder (Rich) and James Snyder (Gail), her three grandchildren Amanda deAlmeida, Kristina Snyder and Andrew Snyder, Three great-grandchildren Jordan deAlmeida-Thomas, Adrian Charlesworth, and Ethan Scheurmann. Carole also had many nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her dearly.

            Preceded in death are her parents Everard and Madelaine, Husband James Snyder, daughter Michelle and sister Shelley.

            Services will be held December 27,2022 at the Calvary Baptist Church 2373 Shore Road, Ocean View, NJ 08230. Visitation will be from 10-11 with services following.
