Obituary of Charles F. Farrell, IV

Farrell, Cory (Charles Francis IV) of Petersburg, NJ died suddenly at his home on November 12, 2022. He was 43.

Cory was a loving son, a devoted husband, and a proud father. He enjoyed the beach, the woods, and spending time with his family. He practiced Tai Chi & Qigong and taught martial arts regularly, including Judo & Jiujitsu. 

Born in Havertown, PA, he was formerly of Ocean City, NJ, where he graduated high school in 1997. Later he earned a psychology degree at Stockton University. He worked for several good years at Able Acres in Estell Manor.

Cory, a professionally trained chef, had a special love for food and cooking. For most of his life he rarely missed a "Sunday dinner." As a boy, meatballs were his favorite. As an adult he surprised everyone with a new-found love of broccoli rabe. 

Surviving are his wife Heather Teresa (O’Shea); daughters, Ariana Joy and Shealynn Faith; brother Travis (Barbara) of Linwood, NJ; niece, Ella Rose; nephew, Jasper Michael; sister Shannon of Boston, MA; his mother Maria (Scafario) of Linwood, NJ; in-laws Tim and Betsy O’Shea; and several dear aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

His Funeral Service will be held this Friday, November 18, at The Church of the Resurrection, Marmora NJ. Visitation from 10-11:45. Mass at Noon.
