Obituary of Kenneth Kryszczun

Kenneth Robert Kryszczun, 75, of Galloway, formerly of Sea Isle City, NJ passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at his home. Born in Philadelphia, Pa to the late Julian and Helen (nee Spiewak) Kryszczun. He earned his Bachelors Degree from LaSalle University and his Masters in Environmental Science from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pa. Ken worked in public service at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for 30 years, retiring as branch chief and regional ombudsman in 2003. He was an active member of St. Joseph’s R. C. Church in Sea Isle City and sung in the choir. Ken volunteered for 10 years for Holy Redeemer Food Bank in Swainton, NJ. He was an avid golfer, fisherman and a passionate Philadelphia sports fan. Surviving are his wife: Patricia (nee Meder) Kryszczun, son: Keith (Samantha Tuttlebee) Kryszczun, daughter: Jenna (Timothy) Recuber. Also surviving are two grandchildren: Margot Evelyn and Simon James Recuber, sister: Helene O’Neill and sister-in-law: Therese Schwartz. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 11 o’clock from St. Joseph’s R. C. Church, 44th Street at Landis Avenue, Sea Isle City, NJ where friends may call from 10:00am until 10:45am. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Clermont, NJ.
