Doris-Marie Rose, 81, of Petersburg Upper Township passed away peacefully on October 25th 2022 at home. Doris-Marie was born July 3, 1941 to the late Albertus and Doris (nee Migliaccio) Wescott. Prior to moving to Cape May County Doris-Marie lived in Gloucester Township until she was around 8 yrs old. She attended Upper Township school and graduated from Ocean City High School Class of 1960. Doris-Marie was a homemaker and liked to travel with her mom and other relatives. Doris-Marie is predeceased by her husband of 61 years, John Milton Rose, Sr., her parents and two brothers. She is survived by her 3 sons John (Jen), Shawn (Tina), Christopher (Cheryl), her sisters Sarah Jane (Tony) Lisa Davis and Jane Day. Her brother Frank (Jan). Her grandchildren Michael, Amanda, Courtney (John), Shawn Jr and George. One great grandchild Joseph (Chunky Monkey). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A viewing will be held Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at The Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 South Shore Road, Palermo, NJ.

Her funeral service will be held Friday, November 4, 2022 at 11:00am from Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 30th Street at Bay Avenue, Ocean City, NJ.

Burial will follow service in Head of the River Cemetery, Estell Manor, NJ.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Upper Township Rescue Squad, 2028 Tuckahoe Road, Petersburg, NJ 08270 or Cape May County Animal Shelter, 110 Shelter Road, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
