Obituary of Ida Ponist
Ida Ponist, 96, of Ocean City, NJ passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, October 22, 2022.
Born in Italy she had lived in South Philadelphia for many years before moving to Ocean City in 1964.
Ida has worked as a Pill Inspector for Smith Kline French in Philadelphia, PA.
She was predeceased by her first husband: Angelo Iacobone, second husband: Joseph Ponist and her son: Gary Robert Anthony Iacobone.
Surviving is her daughter: Elizabeth Freeman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 10:30am at Church of The Resurrection of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, 200 West Tuckahoe Road, Marmora, NJ where her viewing will be from 9:30am until 10:15am.
Burial will follow in Seaside Cemetery, Palermo, NJ.
