Obituary of Fay Powell
Fay Powell of Linwood, formally of Vineland, Florida and Ocean City passed away September 24, 2022 surrounded by her family.
Born January 25, 1937 in Trenton, NJ she graduated from Trenton Central High School in 1955 where she realized her love of dance through school productions. After graduating she went on to work at Arthur Murray Dance Studio as a dance instructor and also did some fashion modeling. After raising her children she went on to own and manage many businesses before her retirement. Lunch with her girls was something she looked forward to every week along with her Martini at the Crab Trap.
Surviving are her two daughters Lynda Mitchell-Marino and her husband Joe of Ocean City NJ, Tracy Schmoyer and her husband Dave of Blackwood NJ, Her Step daughter Robin Mitchell and her fiancé Bert Parenti of Ventnor NJ, Her sister Mabel Rafalski and her husband Frank of Vineland NJ and Three loving grandchildren, Joey Marino, Kylee Schmoyer and Kaitie Schmoyer.
Fay was preceded in death by her husband Harry and her two brothers Warren and Lee.
A service of memory and love will be held on Tuesday October 4th at 11:00 am at Seaside Cemetery in Marmora NJ.
The family suggests those who desire in lieu of flowers send a memorial contribution to her favorite charity, St. Jude's Children's Hospital,
