Obituary of Jacquelynn I. Campellone

Jacquelynn "Jil" (Leonard) Campellone, 70, of Egg Harbor City, NJ was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She passed away suddenly on July 31, 2022. Born in Philadelphia on October 15, 1951, Jil was the daughter of Phyllis (Pard) Leonard and the late John J. Leonard.

Jil graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. She was married to the love of her life, Jimmy Campellone of Newportville, PA for 35 beautiful years and they raised their family in Ocean City, NJ. Jil worked for many years as a Medical Billing Specialist and Pharmacy Technician before running an embroidery shop in Ocean City.

Jil had a great sense of humor and was an avid reader. She enjoyed watching movies and the Philadelphia Phillies. She cherished her daily phone conversations with friends and family, spending time with her children and spoiling her grandchildren.

Along with her father, Jil was predeceased by two brothers, Johnny and Nick Leonard. In addition to her mother and husband, Jil is survived by her children, Gary, Michael (Ashley) and Stephanie. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Olivia, Amelia and Vincent. Further surviving Jil is her brother, Craig (Maryellen) Leonard of Naples, FL.; her sister, Marilyn (Ron) Fiedor of Naples, FL.; her brother, Vince (Ann) Leonard of Jamison, PA; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.  

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Our Lady of Grace Church, 225 Bellevue Ave, Penndel, PA from 10:00am to 11:00am. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00am.
