Obituary of Freddy Chirinos

Freddy Chirinos, age 61, passed away peacefully at his home on April 18th, 2022. Freddy is survived by his wife, Rosa Chirinos; his son, Steven Chirinos; his sisters, Ana Spencer, Maria Miranda, Luz Chirinos, Nelly Chirinos; his brothers, William Chirinos, Nestor Chirinos, Alejandro Chirinos, Luis Reyes, and Federico Reyes. Freddy was preceded in death by his mother, Aniceta Chirinos; his father, Alejandro Chirinos; and his sister, Miryan Prado. Born in Lima, Peru, he lived there with his family for 21 years before immigrating to the United States of America. He was the owner and operator of his travel agency, Costamar Travel in Atlantic City, NJ. He also worked as a bartender for the majority of his time at Caesars Casino Hotel and remained there for 35 years until retiring in 2020. He was always a member of one of his local churches and was a profound believer in God. He enjoyed and loved nothing more than spending time with his family. Whether it was watching a movie with his son or watching Peru play soccer with his family, it was the simple things in life where he found the most joy. He leaves this earth with the hope that those who knew him were able to experience the love of Christ. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him. A viewing for Freddy is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on April 22 at The Godfrey Funeral Homes, 4008 English Creek Avenue, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234 with a service to follow at 12:00 p.m.
