Obituary of Penny Anzalone

Frieda Faye “Penny” Anzalone, age 75, passed away at the Health Center at Galloway on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 after a long battle with vascular dementia. She was the daughter of the late Elizabeth “Libby” and Ralph Fehr. Penny was born in Easton, Pennsylvania on September 10, 1946. She graduated from Easton Area High School. Penny and her late husband owned Fact and Fancy Antiques in Kintnersville, Pennsylvania, where their passion for antiques grew into a business. Later, her love for cooking and entertaining led her to open the Anzalone’s Oyster House in Easton. Her passion for cooking was evident in her delicious seafood menu that made the Easton Morning Call newspaper to showcase her succulent cuisine. She wanted to bring the style of New Orleans cooking to Easton. Penny, along with her husband and son, Jason, led a successful restaurant and motel. Later, she decided to move to Brigantine, NJ to be closer to her son and his wife. Penny also worked as a restaurant manager at Resorts Casino to ensure guests enjoyed their dining experience. Penny was truly a beautiful kind soul who cherished every moment and made the lives of others more manageable. She saw the good in everyone. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Penny also adored her beautiful Persian cats. Penny is survived by her children; Justin Anzalone and Jason Anzalone and his wife, Yvette Anzalone; and her stepchildren, Anthony “Toby” Anzalone and his fiance, Anna Ciosek, Lori Gabrielli and her husband, Albert “Tink” Gabrielli, Jodi Maloney and her husband, Delwayne Maloney, and her brother, Barry Fehr, and his wife, Sharon Fehr, and her sisters; Susan Mertz, and her husband, Thomas Mertz, Tina Larson, and her husband, Mike Larson, Denise Renner, and Penny’s grandchildren; Joshua Anzalone, Nicolina Rando and her husband, Nicolas Rando, Dante Anzalone, Anthony Anzalone, and her step-grandchild; Jessica Maloney. Penny was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Samuel “Toby” Anzalone; sister, Tracy Fehr, and brother, Danny Fehr. Plans for a visitation to honor Penny’s life is scheduled for Saturday, March 26 at The Godfrey Funeral Homes, 4008 English Creek Avenue, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. All family and friends are encouraged to pay their respects and celebrate Penny’s life
