Thomas H. Weatherill, 67, of Beesley’s Point, New Jersey passed away, Monday, February 21, 2022 peacefully at his home with his family by his side. Born in Philadelphia, PA at the United States Navel Hospital he was the only child of the late Jared T. and Marie V. (Nee Stupar) Weatherill. Tom grew up in Woodbury, New Jersey surrounded by his family and many cousins while attending Saint Patrick’s Catholic Grade School. He excelled at sports and particularly loved playing baseball and having his father as his coach. Tom was a graduate of Saint Josephs Preparatory School, Class of 1972. It was there that he made many lifelong friends that he held very dear. He spoke often of the camaraderie and hijinks of him and his classmates. From his beloved “Prep” he went on to attend the Kansas City Art Institute, in Kansas City MO where he earned a BFA in Woodworking and met the love of his life Lisa. After a move back east, they settled in Beesley’s Point, New Jersey, and had two children. Tom worked for many years as a Realtor, first at Lawrence Real Estate and later at ReMax of Ocean City. Tom enjoyed gardening, the beach, loved animals and most of all spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife: Lisa, children: Myles and Marie Adele. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 12 o’clock noon at Church of the Resurrection of St. Maximilian Parish, 200 West Tuckahoe Road, Marmora, NJ. Friends may call from 10 O’clock until time of Mass. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Ocean City Humane Society.
