Mary T Leonard, (Collins), 91 of Ocean City NJ and Boynton Beach FL, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2022. Mary was born and raised in Philadelphia and remained a “Philly Fan” her entire life. Her life was centered around family, faith, and finally, fun. She would bring joy and laughter to every circle she traveled. She loved to entertain, had quick wit, and the best sense of humor. She was a graduate of Gwynedd Mercy Academy and always enjoyed her reunions throughout the years. In retirement, she traveled the globe with her husband Tom of 67 years. They visited over 100 countries and went on 105 cruises. Mary was talented in so many areas. She was a skilled artist and enjoyed painting. She also loved fashion and was well known for her beautiful style. She enjoyed gardening, reading, beach days, and watching Villanova basketball games. But, by far her time with family and friends was always at the top of her list. She was the best wife, mother, sister , aunt, and friend to so many. She is survived by her husband Thomas, who she married in 1954. Her daughters, Kathleen Sink (Andy), Susan Leonard (Joe), Sheila Struthers (Archie). Her sister Kay Simkins (Robert), Sisters in law Barbara Zeigenfuss and Francina Collins, many special nieces and nephews, and her grand dog Shelby. Mary was predeceased by her parents John and Florence Collins, Siblings Elizabeth Collins, Jack Collins, and Sister in Law Rosemary Driscoll. In lieu of donations, Mary would be so pleased if you would do a small act of kindness for others in her memory and say a prayer for her. Mary made the world a much better place.
