Leigh Allan Cassidy, 65, passed away suddenly at his home in Bradenton, FL on January 4, 2022. Born in Trevose, PA, Leigh grew up in Bucks County, PA where he graduated from Council Rock High School. He lived and worked primarily in South Jersey building homes before he retired to Florida. He was a long- time member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Among his many interests were his love of cars, boating, his cherished grandchildren, & dog, Coco. He was renowned by his family and friends for his pool parties. He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend, Gail Cassidy (nee Ransom); three children, Lynn Grassi(Alexander), Cindy Cassidy, and Sean Cassidy (Devon); four grandchildren, Rocco, Jake, Connor, and Emilia; and siblings, Loretta Beisel and Brian Cassidy. Leigh was preceded in death by his parents, William and Loretta Cassidy and nephew, Jason Andrew Cassidy. His Memorial Mass will be offered Monday morning, January 24th at 11 o'clock from Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 40th Street at Asbury Avenue, Ocean City, NJ where friends may call from ten o'clock until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the German Shepherd Rescue of NJ or The American Diabetes Association.
