Obituary of Norma Giampetro

Norma L. Giampetro passed into eternal peace on November 6, 2021. She was born on November 9, 1926 and raised in Camden, New Jersey by the late Edward and Maria Benedetti. She graduated from Camden Catholic High School in 1943 and worked at RCA until her retirement. In 1948 she met and married the love of her life Nicholas A. Giampetro who passed away in 2019 shortly after they celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. After her retirement from RCA, she assisted her husband in the management of his various business ventures in Sea Isle City, New Jersey. They enjoyed a second home in Palm Beach, Florida and traveled extensively to all parts of the world. She moved to Maryland after the passing of husband to be close to her son Nicholas J. Giampetro. She is survived by her son Nicholas J. Giampetro (Angela); three lovely granddaughters Nicole, Anna Howell, and Cullen; great granddaughter Kingsley James Howell; two step grandsons, Justin and Jacob Luna; three nephews, Edward (Gail) Benedetti, Mario (Patricia) Benedetti and Joseph Giampetro; one niece Jessica Giampetro; two grandnieces Dana Joyce and Lisa Benedetti; a great grandnephew Nicholas Joyce; her sister-in-law Matilda Benedetti and her brother-in-law Anthony (Terri) Giampetro. Friends may call Tuesday, November 16 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Church of the Resurrection of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, 200 West Tuckahoe Road, Marmora, NJ and a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am. Thereafter, she will be entombed at Calvary Cemetery in Pennsauken, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to either Saint Jude Christian Hospital or St. Maximilian Roman Catholic Church in Marmora, New Jersey.
