Obituary of Carol Charydczak

Charydczak (Buckler), Carol 87 – of Princeton Junction, NJ passed away September 25th, 2021 surrounded by loved ones in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. Born on July 12, 1934 in Hingham, MA, Mrs. Charydczak lived in Princeton Junction, NJ prior to moving to Egg Harbor Township in 2006. Growing up, Mrs. Charydczak had an idyllic childhood in the seashore town of Hull, MA. With access to the beaches, bay, carnival rides (Paragon Park), and games, she enjoyed her time living in a shore-town house filled with love. After meeting and falling in love with a WWII veteran US Navy Sailor (Roman Charydczak) from NJ, Mrs. Charydczak married Roman and moved to Princeton Junction, NJ. In NJ, Mrs. Charydczak adjusted to life on a farm while giving birth to four boys. Mrs. Charydczak dedicated all of her energy, devotion, and love to her family while actively contributing to the community. Later in life Roman would affectionately refer to Mrs. Charydczak as his 'Angel' always looking out for others. Upon retirement, Mr. & Mrs. Charydczak spent their summers and winters at a house they built in Pembroke, ME overlooking the beautiful Pennamaquan River where the views changed hourly due to the significant tidal changes. Mrs. Charydczak enjoyed her time in ME viewing the wildlife, consuming local fresh seafood (including clams harvested by Mr. Charydczak from the back yard access to the river), and visiting Reversing Falls. After permanently moving back to NJ, Mrs. Charydczak enthusiastically supported the development of her seven grandchildren while periodically visiting friends and family. Mrs. Charydczak is predeceased by her parents, James and Vera Buckler, siblings Robert, Phyllis, John, and Brian, her son Glen Charydczak and her daughter-in-law Marge Charydczak. Mrs. Charydczak is survived by her sons Mark(and wife Holly), Gary, Neal(and wife Jennifer) and grandchildren Bryce, Jenna, Tanner, Delaney, Cole, Paige, and Sydney. A private Memorial service will be held at St. Katharine Drexel Roman Catholic Church located in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests sending memorial contributions to a favorite charity.
