Obituary of Laura Taylor Laverty

Laura Taylor Laverty, 32, beloved daughter of Michael and Ann (nee Taylor) Laverty passed away peacefully on August 17th with her family by her side. Born in Media, PA, she lived in West Chester, PA and Little Silver, NJ before moving to Ocean City, NJ in 2010. Laura was the shining star in her family. She loved being with people, and was always up for a party (woohoo!). She will especially be missed by her dear friends Barney, Elmo, Pink Bear, her ARC group home housemates, and everyone at Active Day of Cape May. She touched the lives of, and left an impact on, everyone who has met her. Surviving are her heart-broken parents, brothers Timothy and Matthew, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. The Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 South Shore Road, Palermo (Marmora), NJ 08223 is in charge of arrangements. A viewing will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and again on Saturday, August 21,2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Laura’s Funeral Service will be Saturday, August 21, 2021, beginning at 10:00 AM at The Godfrey Funeral Home. Burial follows at Seaside Cemetery, in Palermo. Please respect the family’s wishes, and wear a mask. The family understands if anyone cannot attend due to Covid concerns. Please feel free to reach out in other ways.
