McDonald, Donald W. 87 of Ocean City, NJ , devoted husband of Molly, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Shore Medical Center in Somers Point, NJ. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was formerly of Cherry Hill, NJ moving to Ocean City, NJ in 1982. He was a Veteran of World War II, serving as an officer with the United States Navy before receiving his honorable discharge. Mr. McDonald worked as a Mechanical Contractor for Willard Inc. in Jenkintown, PA for forty years before his retirement. Surviving are his beloved wife, Molly McDonald (nee Morton) of Ocean City, NJ; extraordinary father to his four children, Sharon Mullaney of Milford, DE, Gail Pierce of Kimberton, PA, Timothy McDonald of San Pedro, CA, Kevin McDonald of Matthews, NC; lovable grandfather of ten grandchildren, and two great grandchildren, and his dear sister, Lorraine McDonald of Cape May Court House, NJ. His son, David pre-deceased him in 1970. A Memorial Mass and Life Celebration will be offered by the family at a later date.
