Bullock, Myrtle Elizabeth of Ocean City, New Jersey, 86 passed away on Friday September 20, 2013 in Wesley Manor Nursing Home, Ocean City. Myrtle was born in Glen Mills, PA on June 2, 1927 to the late Reese and Phebe (Burnett) Bullock. Myrtle graduated from West Chester High School in 1945. She went to work for the Philadelphia Electric Company shortly after graduation. After retirement Myrtle moved to Ocean City, NJ after vacationing there for many years. She was actively involved in the Goshen Baptist Church while living in West Chester and when she moved to Ocean City she was active in the Union Chapel by the Sea. Survivors include her sister in law Constance Bullock, two nieces, Clara Jefferis and Lynn Weaver along with four nephews, Earl S. Jefferis, E. William Bullock, Robert Jefferis and Edgar Jefferis along with 23 great nieces and nephews. Myrtle was the last of her immediate family having been predeceased by two sisters, Edith Jefferis and Edna Jefferis along with two brothers, Edgar Bullock and Horace Bullock. Services are at 10 am Friday September 27 in the Union Chapel by the Sea, 5501 Asbury Avenue, Ocean City, NJ. Visitation with the family will begin at 9am at the Church. Interment will follow in Birmingham/Lafayette Cemetery in West Chester, PA Contributions may be made in her name to the Union Chapel by the Sea or the charity of your choice.
