Obituary of Richard F. Lee, Sr.

Lee, Richard F. Sr., “Dick” 84, of Mays Landing, NJ Formerly of Philadelphia, Pa passed away peacefully on Friday, May 24, 2019 in the Healthcare Center at Galloway.

Born in Philadelphia, Pa to the late Joseph and Marguerite (nee Walker) Lee he had lived in Glenside, Pa and Wildwood, NJ for many years before moving to Mays Landing, NJ.

Mr. Lee had worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad, was a roofer with Local 30B in Philadelphia, Pa, Owned and managed the Crown Apartments and Surfrider Motel both in Wildwood, NJ and had three West Coast Video stores, Egg Harbor Township, Northfield and Somers Point.

He was member of the Wildwood Elks Lodge and Cannoners Club in Lansdale, Pa. Dick loved and form of gambling, casino games, horseracing, poker or dice.  He enjoyed having a good time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his first wife: Eleanor Lee and a daughter: Karen Lee.

Surviving are his wife: Carolyn Lee, his children: Rick (Renee) Lee, Jr., Randy (Linda) Lee all of Mays Landing, NJ and Ron (Ruth) Lee of Diamond Head, MS.  Also surviving are a sister: Ann Rossi of Glenside, Pa, 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11 O’clock from St. Katharine Drexel R. C. Church, Corner of West Jersey and English Creek Avenues, Egg Harbor Township, NJ where friends may call from 10 o’clock until time of Mass.

Burial will be private in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, Pa.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the charity of one’s choice.
