Andrew Daniel Sannino, age 103, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on December 2, 2021. Andrew was born and raised in Sea Isle City, attended Ocean City High School and furthered his education at RCA Technical Institute in NYC. He resided in Fairview Village with his wife and 6 children for many years before moving to Williamstown. Andrew proudly served in World War II as an Army Staff Sergeant and had a long career with General Electric’s Aerospace Division in the electronics field. Those left to forever cherish his memory are his children Andrew G. Sannino, Maria Sannino, Dolores Sannino, Carol Clark (James), Joseph Sannino (Nicole), and Dan Sannino {Donna). Dear Grandfather of Bernadette McDonel (Robert), Michael Bundi {Michelle}, Joseph Sannino and Matthew Sannino. Great Grandfather of Branden McDonel, Alyssa McDonel and Logan Bundi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Andrew was predeceased by his wife Joan Dever Sannino, their daughter, Baby Diane, his sisters, Ceceilia Natalizio, Nancy Farina, Virginia D’Aleo, Jeannette Zizak, Mary Monichetti and his brothers, James Sannino and Christopher Sannino. He celebrated his 100th year alongside SIC Beach Patrol’s 100th Anniversary as the Grand Marshall and oldest living lifeguard. There wasn’t a project he wouldn’t tackle from tv repairman, roofer, plumber, carpenter, car mechanic and the list goes on. Well into his 90’s he was often found cutting down trees in his backyard and cooking the fish himself for the Traditional Christmas Eve Seven Fishes Feast. He challenged himself daily by doing crossword puzzles and watching Jeopardy. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 9 2021, 10:30am - 11:45am followed by a funeral mass at 12:00 pm at St. Joseph’s Church, Sea Isle City, NJ.
