Joshua Reto It is with deepest sorrow that Jack and Suzanne Reto, announce the passing of their beloved son Joshua Reto on 2/10/2021. It seems his big heart just gave out on him and God brought him home. His sisters, Ashley and Chelsea, adored their brother and while their hearts are heavy, he will live on through them. His brothers in life, Marc Mckeen, Eddie Shiffler and many other friends he considered family, are devasted by the sudden loss of their best friend, Josh. The big guy upstairs took Josh home to be with his Grandmom (who just recently arrived), his Uncle Tom and the rest of the Reto and Mulkeen gang who will help welcome him. Joshua was an accomplished artist, possessed a creative mind with a heart full of love and compassion for others. His artwork appeared throughout New Jersey, Philly, New York and even as far away as London with his “Incredible Hulk” in Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. Josh was as talented in the kitchen as he was in the studio and would often surprise his family with unique and one of a kind meals, a talent he got from his dad (certainly not his mom!). Josh could often be found with his dad Jack, enjoying another past time they both loved, fishing. “Tex” as he was fondly called by his Uncle Richard, spent many a day in his hometown of Ocean City raising hell with his spirited cousins, Shannon, Elizabeth, Megan, Kate, Chris, Lauren, Sarah, Jane, Pete, Sean and Caitlin. Many a memory was made and will be treasured by his “crew” and all who knew him. He leaves a loving family of Aunts, Uncles, In-laws and friends too numerous to mention. A walk thru visitation with the family (with Covid restrictions) will be held Monday, February 15, 2021 from 11 to 12 o’clock at The Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 South Shore road, Palermo, NJ. A public graveside service will follow at 12:30 in Seaside Cemetery, Palermo, NJ. In lieu of sending flowers, admire them in nature!
