Jacqueline M Hurley, 69 passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday October 9, 2020. Born in Washington DC, she lived her youth in Arlington VA and Graduated from Washington Lee High School. Jackie worked 35 plus years in the real estate business as an administrator and later a real estate agent. She recently retired to a part time agent from Weichert Realtors Coastal in Wildwood, NJ. Jackie loved her job and was a dedicated employee, she always dotted every I and crossed every T. The thing Jackie loved the most was taking rides with her husband to explore the beautiful small towns along the Southern New Jersey Shore, the Eastern Shore of Virginia and the many Florida Keys. She always enjoyed her time her family and most recently with her first great grandson William, who will greatly miss his Mom Mom Jackie. Jackie loved the Atlantic City slots and the Big Wheel at Resorts where she always found a winning number. She greatly enjoyed spending Thursday nights at the Avalon Links, raising glasses and listening to the music she loved with the many great friends she had met, and the staff that made her feel like family. Jackie helped many people throughout her life including total strangers, friends and family. Survivors include her loving husband and high school sweetheart of 51 years, Joseph M. Hurley Sr, Children: Angela M Schweibinz and her husband James Schweibinz Sr, Joseph M Hurley Jr and his wife Merrilee Wasser Hurley, Grandchildren: James L Schweibinz Jr, Jodie Schweibinz McEwing and her husband Brian McEwing, Carlie Schweibinz, Anthony Schweibinz, Grace & Liam Hurley, Great Grandson: William LaRosa, Neices: The “Twins” Stacy Hall and Jennifer Hall and Nephew: Dean Stephenson, all who she loved like a Mother. She had many brother in-laws, sister in-laws, nephews, nieces and great nephews and great nieces who she always kept in her heart whether near or far. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents Ernest Rittue and Marie (Melaski) Rittue, Her sister Judith Ann Hall, Her brother William Rittue and her baby sister Katherine Jeanette Rittue Creamer. Nephew: Brian Hall. Her Funeral Service will be offered Wednesday morning at 10:30 am from The Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 South Shore Rd., Palermo, NJ where friends may call from 9:30 until the time of service. Burial will follow in Seaside Cemetery, Palermo, NJ.
