Obituary of Barbara Lang

Lang, Barbara A. (Cosgrove) 82 of Philadelphia, PA and SEavfille, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, October 18 at Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, PA.

Mrs. Lang worked at St. Joseph's University for over 20 years until she retired in 1995. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Irish American Cultural Society of South Jersey. She enjoyed Irish dancing with her friends.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Frank and is survived by her seven children Frank A. Lang, Jr. (Vincetta) of Philadelphia, PA, Bobbi Mazza (Fred) of Philadelphia, PA, Joe Lang of Essington, PA, Rick Lang (Fran) of North Wildwood, NJ, Sue Neborak (Tommy) of Clifton Heights, PA, Janice Lang of Seaville, NJ and Beth DeVito (Danny) of Norwood, PA, fifteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, her sister Patricia Sims and many nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters and brothers in law.

She was also predeceased by her parents John and Caroline (Carroll) Cosgrove, her sister Caroline O'Donovan and her brother John Cosgrove.

Friends may call on Monday evening, October 23rd from 6-8 pm at the Godfrey Funeral Home, 644 South Shore Road, Palermo, NJ. A mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday morning at 10:30 am at the Divine Mercy Parish-Good Shepherd Church, 6667 Chester Avenue, Philadelphia, PA where friends may call from 9-10:15 am. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
